Below are the goals for my Foundations of College Writing Course.
For each goal, I've selected work that demonstrates how I addressed that goal during the course,
and explained how, citing specific examples from my work.

Goal A - Students will be able to compose
for particular audiences and purposes
students will write for a specific purpose
and audiences.
when we interviewed a professor, it was for a
specific purpose. It helped to write about something
to the audience.
Goal B - Students will be able to compose using
language and conventions appropriate to genre
we will write in a way that makes sense
and sounds like your specific genre
out interview also applies to this. We had to write
in a way that made sense with our major.
Goal C - Students will be able to read, select, and use
evidence critically to formulate and support arguments
we will understand what we read so we
can talk and understand what everyone
is saying and engage in arguments
Using the FAQ-I sheets for our project because we
have to argue as to why their problem with out topic
is wrong, so we have to understand and make an
argument about it.
Goal D - Students will be able to interpret and compose in
a variety of media and print/non-print genres
we will understand and explain in different
genres. We will know how to do multiple
genres so we can write in different viewpoints.
By looking at the smart moves, it helps us to change
our genres around so that we can see how to do it
the right way. Each new smart move is in a different
view which is good so it helps us with each one.
Goal E - Students will be able to describe and apply
appropriate writing processes, both individually
and in collaborative contexts
we will be able to understand what we should
fix in our writing. People will understand each
other and will give feedback to improve our
writing.
By having our classmates peer review our writing and
help to fix them and make them better. We understand
from one another what we should do to make them
better.
